“ Great food provided with quality fast service while super busy. This was our first visit and everyone was working well in teamwork and checked all the boxes. The food was delicious and when you combine that with great service it creates a great night out. Request a reservation in advance as it is a busy restaurant with a great reputation. The best place to eat in Gunnison in my opinion. Thanks again for the wonderful experience. ”

“ What a great stop on the way to Crested Butte from Gunnison! Make sure you call in your reservation (yep, leave a message). You'll be glad you did. The outside might surprise because it's a small road house by the river, but inside lies a great Italian restaurant. We had the specials, which included prime rib in peeper sauce and halibut in lemon caper sauce, both cooked perfectly. They also have an outdoor bar right next to the river where you can order drinks and food in a VERY Colorado setting. This is a must-stop that I've missed till now with over 30 years in this state. Will dine there again! ”
“ Make a reservation!!! This place is ahhhmazing! A must try in the area. You can always get there early or even just go out to the river front bar area for awesome views, live music, drinks, and a small menu. Garlic Mike was grillin some oysters when we got there - Nathan was our server and he was the bomb dot comb. The food was incredible. All good things to say ”
“ We just had the most amazing dinner at Garlic Mikes! The mushroom soup was wonderful, the Prime Rib done perfectly, and the Shrimp Scampi was cooked and seasoned exactly as one would expect. The shrimp were fresh, large, and very tender. Delicious! Nona’s lemon cake was an exquisite ending to the meal along with two warm cups of Nutty Monks. We enjoyed watching one dish after another being prepared by the talented chef and his assistants. Every dish looked so appetizing we wished we were staying in Gunnison longer so we could sample more of the menu. From the receptionist to the young gentleman filling water glasses, and the two waiters, all of the wait staff were friendly, attentive and made wonderful recommendations. How lucky Garlic Mike’s is to have them. We have had several dining experiences all over the country that so memorable that we still reminisce about them - Garlic Mike’s will definitely be added to that list. Thank you so much. We are looking forward to a time when we can return to Gunnison and enjoy another meal with you again. ”

“ We just had one of our best meals ever!! We started with a perfect Manhattan and. Pomelmo, Garlic Mike’s incredible version of a Paloma. Dinner started with a green salad with a beautifully balanced dressing. Then, we had the special halibut in lemon butter caper sauce. The meat was delicate and perfectly prepared. They were out of the prime rib, so the waitress suggested the Filetto Con Pepe. What a great choice! It was a tender filet with black pepper and a cognac cream sauce. For dessert we had Nona’s Lemon Cake. It was delectable, especially when paired with a glass of Vinsanto. Reservations are a must. They are super friendly when you call. The service and the atmosphere are great. ”
